Restoration & Damage Repair
Restoration and damage repair covers the lawns, driveways, sidewalks, landscaping, fences, irrigation and private lines around underground utility work. If you believe property was affected by work we performed, tell us what happened and we will review it. Send the address, the approximate date of the work and photos if you have them.
What does restoration cover?
Underground utility work crosses yards, drives and walks. When a line is in, the trench or bore pit is backfilled, compacted and the surface restored. A settled trench line, a cracked walk or a sprinkler line that stopped working can show up long after the work, when the crew has moved on to another area.
If you believe property was affected by work we performed, tell us what happened and we will review it. Our team reads every report and keeps it on record with the photos and details you send.
What can be restored
Lawns and landscaping
A settled trench line, ruts, bare strips and disturbed beds, edging or plantings. Restoration means regrading, topsoil and seed or sod, as the review of the report finds appropriate.
Driveways, sidewalks and curbs
Concrete or asphalt over or beside a trench, a pit or a bore: a cracked panel, a sunken patch or a broken edge, restored to match the surface around it.
Fences, irrigation and private lines
Fence posts and panels, sprinkler heads and lines, and private lines on the property, such as a pet fence wire, a landscape lighting cable or a private water or sewer line near the work.
