Underground power installation is a common request when a building is added, an electrical service is upgraded or overhead lines are being moved below ground at a property. The civil part of the work is the path and the protection for the cable: a trench or a bore between the source and the building, conduit sized and laid as the specification requires, pull boxes where long runs need them, and backfill and restoration.
